New Research in Probiotics


Primadophilus is designed to deliver helpful bacteria to the gut. These microorganism strains are essential to maintaining healthy intestinal flora. Under normal conditions, trillions of bacteria exist in the intestines. As part of the body’s defenses they help maintain good health by preventing harmful microorganisms from infiltrating the body. Medications taken to combat illness or infection can reduce the number of beneficial bacteria.

Recommendations for balancing hormones

Before we get to the main part of the newsletter the staff at Zeller’s would like to include a note. Those of you who have spoken with Linda know that this is much more than a business for her. Seventeen years ago when she was working on her Ph. D. in Curriculum Development she was diagnosed with cancer and decided to refuse orthodox care and become a purist. She was healed of the cancer and also a long standing asthma like condition. Since then she has passionately devoted her life to helping educate others about how important life style choices are. A majority of what the typical American eats and does each day is poisoning them. She believes that every little choice we make either contributes to life or to death.

Part of her healing regimen was using Happy PMS to balance her hormones, unlike other natural progesterone creams, it utilizes Rosemary extract and vitamin E as preservatives. After much research and study she attended many of Dr. John R. Lee’s seminars when he was alive and has lectured extensively on the subject of hormone balance and other health enhancers.

Hormones play an integral role in a healthy immune system. Happy PMS and Adams Prostate Care are a great help to balance hormones. After using them for several months, it is important to do a saliva test to fine tune your dosage for optimum results. Please notice below Dr. John R. Some basics….support your health and your digestive system, since 80% of your immune system is located there, by eating more living nutrients in organic raw foods and juices, taking good quality Vitamin C, AcidophilusVit EB-complexMagnesiumPotassium and a good Multiple Vitamin/Mineral supplement to prevent nutritional deficiencies. Magnesium: 400-500 milligrams morning and night (preferably with food) until  hormones are balanced and then just at bedtime. If you have leg cramps try taking with calcium before bed with a little yogurt.

Vitamin E: Minimum of 400 IU with food daily, up to 800 IU daily

B-50 complex: One in the morning with food. (that includes 50 milligrams of B6)

Multiple Vitamin:

Vitamin C: 1,000 milligrams twice daily, up to 5,000 to 10,000 milligrams daily in a buffered form

Saliva Testing:

 To regain hormone balance as closely as possible it is important to measure with saliva testing.

*Please keep in mind that it usually takes 6 months to “fine tune” hormones but you should notice improvement within the first month or two.

Diet: Low-protien diet with leafy greens, legumes, and whole grains emphasized. Avoid all sodas. Limit alcohol use.

Vitamin D: 350 to 400 IU daily

Vitamin C: 2000 milligrams a day in divided doses

Beta-carotene: 15 milligrams a day

Vitamin B6: 50 milligrams a day

Zinc: 15 to 30 milligrams a day

Magnesium: 300 to 500 milligrams a day

Calcium: 800 to 1000 milligrams a day, mostly by diet (may use one 300-milligram supplement per day)

Progesterone: Apply 21 days a month if pre-menopausal, or the two weeks before menses if not menopausal. Use 1 to 2 ounces a month. Dose may be reduced later depending on serial BMD results.

Estrogen: Estriol may be indicated if vaginal dryness and/or hot flashes persist in women who are using natural progesterone cream and doing the nutritional recommendations. It is important to do saliva testing.

Exercise: Twenty minutes daily or one-half hour three times a week. Exercise that brings out a little sweat builds bones better than lighter exercise. Find exercise that’s fun to do.

Saliva Testing: To regain hormone balance as closely as possible it is important to measure with saliva testing.

No cigarette smoking.

Report ANY occurrence of vaginal bleeding to your doctor.
